Thank you for joining us in the Race to END AHC!
This past year, Mason has gained some BIG milestones! He has started pulling up and crawling on all fours! We have been working on him taking steps with assistance from his walker, therapists and loved ones. Our goal within to next year is to see him stand and take a few steps unassisted.
Mason has continued to struggle with seizures, dystonia and bilateral and quadriplegia paralysis. Unfortunately, he hasn't gotten to enjoy the pool or being outside much this summer as it causes severe episodes. He continues to battle autonomic dysfunction which affects his heart rate, oxygen and body temperature and in turn causes AHC havoc.
He would love your support and generosity so that one day he can express his excitement without the repercussions of an episode. Funds raised by this walk go towards better treatment for our Mighty Mason.
We will be gathering in person to represent his team on October 2nd at Lake Hefner by the lighthouse followed by lunch at Mama Rojas. If you can't join us in person, you are welcome to participate virtually. Any activity is welcome from walking to gardening.
